Vent pipes enable water vapour accumulated under the hydro-insulation to be released without affecting the thermal insulation properties of the layers.
This enables you to avoid serious damage typical to waterproof roofing with poor ventilation (curling, bulging, dampness of the thermal insulation layer). This could cause partial or complete loss of thermal insulation properties.
Made of special material that binds well with bitumen membranes, they are characterised by high resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and other atmospheric and chemical agents.
Due to refining additives, the vent pipes maintain their flexibility and dimensional stability in a wide temperature range and provide short-time resistance to welding, enabling you to weld them directly to bitumen membrane.
