Extruded from specially stabilised thermoplastic and flexible material, harmless to PVC.
Characterised by high mechanical strength (temperature stresses) and high resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and other atmospheric and chemical agents.
Due to refining additives, ELASTIC tape for PVC maintains its flexibility and dimensional stability in a wide temperature range and provides short-time resistance to high temperatures, enabling you to weld it directly to PVC membrane.
ELASTIC tapes intended for PVC have the same characteristics as tapes for bitumen membranes. However, their side strips are smooth in order to facilitate welding to PVC.
A closed-pore polyurethane foam roll (25 mm diameter) should be used as a tape fold insert.
The mounting temperature of the tape to the PVC foil is 450 – 520 ˚C
The use of a higher temperature may cause a damage to the layer protecting against UV, which in turn may lead to the degradation and unsealing of the surface of the tape.
