"Anti-overflow" roof drains are intended for drainage of flat roof covered with PVC hydro-insulating membrane. Using a sealing flange combined with a downpipe provides a tight roof drainage system.
Made of special material characterised by high resistance to UV radiation, ozone, and other atmospheric and chemical agents, adapted to PVC membranes. Due to refining additives, the roof drains maintain their flexibility and dimensional stability in a wide temperature range.
A long outlet pipe enables installation in thick ceilings. A funnel-shaped anti-overflow container prevents water from overflowing during the first strike of rain and increases the drainage capacity by 20% in relation to other drains of the same diameter.
The mounting temperature of the roof drain to the PVC is 450 – 520 ˚C.
The use of a higher temperature may cause a damage to the layer protecting against UV, which in turn may lead to the degradation of the drain and unsealing of the roof surface.
